The forecast currently looks like it might finally give us a nice paddling weekend! With the past wet weekends it looks like the rivers and streams should be running pretty good. So Lets go paddle a smaller river we don’t always have the water to run.
Depending on water levels we will paddle either the Maiden Creek or the Perkiomen Creek. Both creeks offer twists and turns with some fun riffles and beautiful scenery! After our paddle we can all grab a bite & brew at a local restaurant and relive our adventure. What a great way to kick off SPRING!!!
We will paddle 10-14 miles and have lunch on the river so please bring lunch, snacks and plenty of water.
Location TBD. When you RSVP “yes” please let us know the best email and phone number to reach you. We will send an email out to the people registered when we know the exact location. We will meet either at the TIOA Headquarters or a park along the Perkiomen Creek.
Cost (if you have your own kayak) – $45 per person (includes shuttle of you & your kayak guide and logistics).
Cost (if you need a kayak) – $90 per person (includes kayak, paddle, pfd, shuttle, guide and logistics)
Bring your lunch and snacks for the day and an extra set of clothes.
We work hard on logistics and planning based on your RSVP. Please respect our time and efforts and PLEASE DON’T BE A “NO SHOW” OR A LAST MINUTE BAILER!!
